Biography
My name is Hassan Nojavan, and I am a fourth-year Ph.D. student in Operations Research at Southern Methodist University. I am fortunate to be advised by
Dr. Miju Ahn.
My research focuses on developing nonconvex optimization methods for empirical risk minimization, robust machine learning, and recommender systems. I am also interested in applying optimization and data-driven methods to real-world decision-making problems.
